The customer came to us with the idea of creating a platform from scratch, where the products of three companies will be presented: JSC MMK, LLC Trading House MMK, OJSC MMK-Metiz. In the future, consumers will be able to purchase goods from the holding's other companies and from third-party processors on the marketplace that manufacture products from Magnitogorsk metal.
A new service is an opportunity for the company to shorten the chain between the manufacturer and the end customer. The main target audience of the marketplace is regular customers, official dealers, and retail consumers.
The new service involves the sale of goods from different manufacturers. In this regard, our task was to implement an integration layer capable of combining information in the marketplace catalog from the accounting systems of three companies. The work was carried out jointly with LLC MMK-Informservice. In the future, other companies that join the marketplace will be able to transfer the product range, and MMK Trading House managers will post products on the site.
We also added functionalities that contribute to the solution of the customer's business goals:
In the personal account, we have worked out the tabs related to the specifics of the industry in addition to the usual sections: "Auctions," "Claims," "Quality Certificates." So, a certificate is displayed either for the entire batch, or for a roll/pack in the "Quality Certificates" for each product unit.
When registering, customers can choose a status: an individual or legal entity. With the second option, several people can have access to the personal account.
The customer received a modern tool for B2B sales with a streamlined data exchange mechanism and a possibility of further scaling. The marketplace provides the company's clients with a convenient automated service. The site is already working and allows you to order the necessary products in a few clicks. Shortening the checkout chain leads to more sales. Thanks to the technological service, we have managed to optimize the labor costs of managers and create conditions for processing a larger number of orders.
